A1 Weston School of Motoring is an independent driving school run by Simon Sweet, who is:
•    an experienced DSA Approved
Driving Instructor
•    a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists
•    an RAC Approved Instructor
•    a member of RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents)
•    a DIAmond Advanced Instructor
•    certified with a Diploma in Driving Instruction and
•    a Pass Plus Instructor

All lessons are adapted to suit the learning style and level of our pupils, whilst following the DSA approved tuition programme structure, leading to a safe, competent, defensive driving style as required by the DSA practical driving test.

Tuition is not confined to new learners, but includes refreshers and specialist instruction following an accident, illness, driving ban or an extended driving sabbatical as well as preparation for non U.K. drivers to take their driving test here in Cornwall.

We regard the two hour lesson sessions as the most cost effective way of consolidating progress and our driving lessons are conducted on a one to one basis, with an initial outline lesson plan at the start and an appraisal / evaluation at the conclusion to assess your progress.

We document the practical and theoretical driving topics, which are covered during each lesson. Further to assist in the learning, of both the theory and hazard perception tests, we can provide DSA support material in the form of the latest approved DVD and CD Rom as well as point out outstanding online resources. These pieces of educational material are always available at no extra cost.

We make sure that your lessons are conducted in familiar surroundings and we can even pick you up and drop you off at your home address, college or local place of work in our Fiat Bravo Sport; a compact hatchback that adapts easily to all statures. It is remarkably easy to drive and manoeuvre and comes with dual controls, air conditioning and electric everything!
